Crafted by Old Tavern Cheese Club
In 1926 Paul Strong hung his shingle in Waukesha, Wisconsin. A little brownstone sandwiched between two taverns helped earn its name “Old Tavern Club” with the humble first offerings were just three local cheeses. Still family-owned and operated, the business has grown to more than two hundred products, one of our favorites being the bourbon roasted nuts roasted by local collaborator Kleine Bayern.
About the pecans: Made from a Bavarian recipe handed down from one generation to the next, our pecans are roasted in small batches in copper kettles. Wisconsin’s own Death’s Door White Whisky lends a rich, malty flavor to this sweetly sophisticated snack. Betcha can’t eat just…all of them.
